The following are brief descriptions of our classes offered this summer at Truthful Acting. If you have any further questions about our classes or program, please do not hesitate to contact us.

NOTE: You can repeat the following previously completed classes for half-tuition: Meisner I, Meisner II, and Auditions I!

Master Meisner Program

The Master Meisner Program is scheduled and currently enrolling for our May semester! See the section below for full information.

MEISNER I: Living Truthfully

Days: Mondays AND Thursdays

Times: 10:30am-2pm OR 7pm-10:30pm

Begins: Monday, May 20th

Instructor: Robb Maus

This semester is focused on finding your unique voice as an artist. Through this program of study, we will guide you in discovering your own unique perspective and assist you in becoming more present, authentic and responsive to the world around you. We will work toward becoming the full expression of everything that is happening as it is happening.

Utilizing a series of progressive exercises, our vision is for you to learn to trust your instincts and learn to live truthfully under imaginary circumstances.

MEISNER II: Emotional Life

Days: Mondays AND Thursdays

Times: 7pm-10:30pm

Begins: End of May

Instructor: Marco DiGeorge

During this semester, we will create tangible tools, and begin to explore how to create the emotional life needed to fulfill the requirements of scenes, as well as leaning how to personalize the text to make it meaningful to YOU!

NOTE: The completion of the Meisner I is preferred before taking this class. Please let us know if you have any questions.

TA Conservatory Program

We are offering Auditions I PM (Tu/F) and Meisner III AM or PM (Tu/F) this semester. You will have the first right of refusal on these classes, so please fill out the form below if you would like us to hold a seat for you. Seating is limited in these classes.

AUDITIONS I: Technique

Days: Tuesdays AND Fridays

Times: 7pm-10:30pm

Begins: End of May

Instructor: Robb Maus

Overview: This semester is aimed at building your arsenal with tangible tools for auditioning, from leaning how auditions work and what the casting directors are looking for, to how to conduct a proper cold read, to monologues and agent auditions. This is a great class for those who are new to auditioning, or for those who wish to strengthen their skills more specifically.

Prerequisite: Completion of the Master Meisner Program preferred.

Auditions I Class Details

MEISNER III: Practical Application

Days: Tuesdays AND Fridays

Times: 10:30am-2pm OR 7pm-10:30pm

Begins: End of May

Instructor: Marco DiGeorge

Overview: Over the course of the Master Meisner Program many tools were introduced. However, many actors still struggle with their execution beyond a class environment. It is important that we go back to the basics to work efficiently and simply. During this semester, you will gain an understanding of how and when to utilize each tool, resulting in a deeper, more consistent process of working.

Prerequisite: Completion of the Master Meisner Program preferred.

As the only Acting Conservatory in the Southeast, TA provides a safe environment for you to grow not only as an Actor, but as a human being as well. At the end of the day, the better person you are, the better Actor you will be, and I promise you will not meet better people in this industry than Robb, Marco, and Marco's wife Sam. I have been training here for over 2 years and they have changed my life in ways that I could never have imagined.
If you are interested in acting in Orlando, make sure to attend one of their many Open Houses they host and go see for yourself what a magical place Truthful Acting Studios is. You are enough.

In my own personal journey, not only have I received the training to gain confidence in my abilities as an actor but I've undergone immense personal growth that I couldn't even find after 5 years in the military. I haven't just found a new hobby or pastime, I've found a new life pursuit, a new purpose! This place really is something special, I can't praise them enough!
Whether you're an aspiring actor or from any other walk of life this place WILL elevate you as a person. It's been a catalyst for extreme growth and healing, an experience I wouldn't trade for anything.
