People have said that these classes are a transformative experience of self-discovery, and they’re right. I just finished Meisner I with Robb, and the class (and classroom environment) really helped with my self-confidence and my faith in my abilities as an actor, but it also helped me feel more in touch with myself and helped me make connections with my talented peers. It was a truly wonderful experience getting to meet and work with so many other creative individuals, and Robb is a very special and insightful teacher. I feel honored to have been able to be able to work with and learn from him; the lessons, discussions, and instruction from Robb are truly priceless. Whether you want to be an actor or not, I would 100% recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn something about themselves, feels disconnected from themselves or is going through a hard time, or who wants to explore their creativity and their heart. You will learn and experience things that will stick with you forever and change your outlook on life.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Meisner technique, some of the lessons/classwork may seem strange or confusing, but every little tool you learn truly makes a difference and helps you to be able to tap into an authentic “performance” that feels more like an experience, as well as connect to your character, the scene, and your scene partners. It all adds up, and produces real results—although they will be different for everyone. They want you to act in your own way, and they guide you in how to do that effectively. Trust in the work, and let it be! I cannot wait to learn from Marco in Meisner II!🩵

Taking classes at Truthful Acting has literally changed my life and I'm so grateful that God opened this door for me and led me in this direction and to take … read more classes here! It was literally divine timing. From day one I knew it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The growth that I have seen in myself has been so amazing and it's something I cannot even put it into words. This space has been something I truly needed. I'm so grateful for Marco, Robb, and Sam and everything they have done for us. The atmosphere they create is such a safe space and they are SUCH amazing instructors. Taking classes here have helped me grow so much, not only with acting but also getting me out of my comfort zone, and helping me mentally, emotionally, physically and just with my overall life. Not only do they care about your journey but you can tell they genuinely care about you so much as a person as well. I’m also SO grateful for the life long connections and friendships I’ve also made with my fellow classmates, who have now became like a second family. If you are deciding whether or not to take a class, DEFINITELY do it. I a million times over recommend and promise you it will be so rewarding and life changing. I could honestly go on for days about how amazing this school has been!! :)
