Yes it can. You can work material from commercials, theatre, television, or film. Or, you can work on improvisation or other acting skills (or exercises from our other classes if you are a TA actor).
It depends on what you want to work on. If you are working on auditioning and cold reading, then no. However, if you want to work on performance, then it would help to be fully memorized prior to class.
Great question! Don’t let that stop you from joining – we can discuss it with you and help you choose an area to work on to start out. Very quickly, you will have impulses that will guide you to the next area to work on.
You can talk to the instructor so they understand what you want to work on, and they will help guide you in those areas.
Many actors like to join the same block to work on scenes together. You can also choose to partner up with another actor in your block once you join, or we can help pair you up with a scene partner as well.
Yes you may. Once you join, if you don’t have material, we have a selection of monologues and short scenes you can choose from.
Yes, you can work on any material you wish class to class.

You don’t need to purchase the 4-class block. You can buy as many individual classes as you’d like. However, since the 4-class block is priced lower than 3 single classes, it’s usually the better value.
You can simply purchase the next block and continue your work. Or, if you only need one more class to finish, you can purchase class by class too.
