I just finished Meisner I with Robb, and the class (and classroom environment) really helped with my self-confidence and my faith in my abilities as an actor, but it also helped me feel more in touch with myself and helped me make connections with my talented peers. If you’re unfamiliar with the Meisner technique, some of the lessons/classwork may seem strange or confusing, but every little tool you learn truly makes a difference and helps you to be able to tap into an authentic “performance” that feels more like an experience, as well as connect to your character, the scene, and your scene partners. It all adds up, and produces real results—although they will be different for everyone. They want you to act in your own way, and they guide you in how to do that effectively. This school changed my life and my world and made it such a better place to be. The people, the way they teach … More and approach everyone is indescribable. Marco, Rob and Sam are the magicians ! I have never been planning on getting into any acting industry and came just for the personal development but I gained so much more! The better approach to life, the real world of emotions, great new friends and a load of fantastic memories. And that is only the tip of the iceberg!! The deep connection, the dedication of teachers and their distinct personal touch in all the things is priceless! I came for a little while but definitely ready to stick for long! Online Acting Classes FAQ
Truthful Acting Online
Truthful Acting Online makes deep-level actor training available to students worldwide. Course material is developed by Marco DiGeorge, Co-Owner and Program Director of Truthful Acting Studios, an in-person acting conservatory in Orlando, Florida.
Courses are self-paced and available fully online. Each course is broken into a series of lessons. Students are encouraged to follow course material in the order it is presented, but have the freedom to choose to navigate course material in the way that best suits them. Each lesson has at least 1 video lecture, and several have additional materials including printouts, exercises to complete, and/or additional video material available outside of Truthful Acting Online.
Course enrollment grants you lifetime access to purchased course material as well as continued access to our private Discord server, where students can network and meet each other, do practice exercises, engage in discussion, ask questions to the instructor, and more.
Course lengths vary so please check each course for the details.
Courses are added as they are developed, approximately once every few months.
You may begin your course at any time after you are enrolled.
Courses are self-paced. We recommend completing courses at the rate of 1-lessons per week, but students have the freedom to progress as quickly or slowly as they wish. Students have lifetime access to purchased course material.
Course previews are available on sales pages as well as on the Truthful Acting YouTube Channel.
Certain online courses will provide a Certificate of Completion. If you are able to take Truthful Acting Studios’ in-person Master Meisner program, you would receive a certificate at the end of the program. To learn more about the Master Meisner program, please CLICK HERE!
Course instructor Marco DiGeorge (along with other TAO admins) are available to contact via the Truthful Acting Online private Discord server, which Truthful Acting Online students are granted access to upon paid enrollment. In addition, Marco conducts free online sessions periodically. Please check the Free Acting Sessions page for more details.
Courses include exercises to be completed as homework between lessons. These exercises are critical for students’ artistic development.
After you complete a course, you have lifetime access to review course material and re-take the course as you wish.
Course videos may not be downloaded or shown outside of the Truthful Acting Online platform.
